The growing number of application programs for Linux causes an increasing demand for Linux system administrators, preferably with a demonstrably advanced level of knowledge. The Linux Professional Institute LPI provides the LPIC3 certificate (Senior Level Linux Professional) with which holders of the LPIC-2 certificate can prove their avanced skills in professional Linux administration. This LPIC3 "core certificate" is obtained by passing the 301 exam at a VUE or Prometric centre.
AT Computing provides the LPI 301 course as a preparation for the Level 3 exams. Augmented with self tuition and practical skills the LPIC301 exam will come within reach.
A reasonable experience as a Linux system administrator.
All topics and objectives as stated in the official specifications of the 301 exam.
Course attendants will receive a student pack containing copies of the presentations, lab exercises, answers to the exercises, and background information.
The course material is in English, and the teaching language will be English unless the attendants prefer the Dutch language unanimously.
It is wise to augment the theoretical base obtained in this course with additional self study and practical experience.
